Make it a habit not to click on any links in emails you receive. Here is why.
You could easily download a virus, give away your personal information, allow people to track you online and send you tons of junk mail, etc. and all it takes is just that ONE click!
Instead of clicking on the website url, just float your mouse over it first, and then look in your status bar to verify exactly what url you are been sent to. Not because it says for instance
www.paypal.com in your email body means that you are been directed to Paypal's Website. Floating your mouse over the website name and observing your status bar will reveal your true destination. If it's different than the one in the email body, and you click on it, you have a 99% chance of messing up.
