Gamboa, Paraiso, Pedro Miguel people are "unique" individuals. This is one place in the world that people had the opportunity to born, grow,and develop in a safe environmen. Kids played outside their homes without the fear of anyone hurting them and neighbors looking out for each other. That is what people in the State want and we had that. If you grow up during the 1960-1980s here you will know what I am talking about. This medium inspired me to say this and may have you remember that we are a special breed of people, that is a blessing. I am sorry though that our kids will never know the many opportunities we received to build this brotherhood. Most of us left our stamp as most of us being abroad kept conquering the world we live in. I just want to salute each and every person that lived within these towns and ask them to never forget where they came from and cherish the good old days. I am proud and honored to have attended school, lived and be part of the recent history of the "Canal Zone"... Dave, thank you for the opportunity provided.

We have a home in El Christo, just 15 minutes from Aguadulce.Elena is Panamian and I from the USA. I cannot say enough good things about Panama and the people.It may not be paradise but it's close.It may someday be truly discovered.

Great site. Blessings to all the "old" Paraiso family from one who will always be family. Hello & what a wonderful website. I found this link on the PHS Class of '63 website. I live in Paraiso & then we moved to Pedro Miguel. I don't know if you remember Pinny, she was my mom. My brothers were Tommy, Paully, & my 2 sisters are Marie & Susie. I am the youngest. Tommy passed away on July 13, 2007 & Paully just passed away Oct 25, 2009. Hello, I've been trying to locate my uncle or his children in Panama. His name is Adolfo Claros and he married an woman from Formosa Japan and he was in the US Airforce. Please let me know one way or the other if you are related. I googled his name and your web site came up. Thanks..Fred!
