Greetings and Blessed Love, Iam from Rainbow City, Iam the last of 11 McFarlane children of the late, but never forgotten Arthur McFarlane, and Ettymae McFarlane Flatts. My Daddy worked in the Canal Zone, cooking, and fixing radios.

Hiya,
I have recently moved to Panama from the South of Spain, although I am originally Northern Irish. I am currently working on Isla Perico and want to buy a property in Paraiso. I would be most grateful for any advice or inforamation.

This is my first visit to my own brother's web site. Though I was a big/little baby in those times, I also have fond memories of Paraiso. Mrs. Squires down the valley, "Otro Confite," Mrs. Austin's patties, getting beat by Principal Webster with the yard stick for coming to school late, playing football in the rain, watching the boats from our classroom, climbing the threes to acquire fruits to sell to the deckhands, walking to the Summit Zoo barefoot, walking up Soldier Hill barefoot then racing back down hiding from the Gugu Man! Catching guppies out the the gutter for our fish bowl, catching shrimps out the gutter to go fishing out the Canal, playing "La Tiene" in the pitch dark, "Cocinaito" in the bushes, fetching fruits from beyond the rapids, roasting cashews, eating mangoes, Klim, sugar, starch, etc., smile. Jumping off the swing-swang and bursting your head wide open and losing your memory! Yeah, I remember that one! Thank God we're still alive to tell it, huh? Okay, okay, that was my brother Dave, who built this site who jumped off the swing, it wasn't me. He only lost his memory for a short while, but it came back. Christmas... boy, so many fond memories... definitely fond memories.
